Hey there! Doc here, let’s jump into some introductions about myself, Open Source CEO and more. Firstly, who am I?

And what is Open Source CEO?

Open Source CEO is a weekly newsletter read by 25k founders, investors & leaders in tech. Readers at Google, Canva, Stripe, TikTok, Sequoia and more read because we help them outperform their competition.

How do we do that though? Through the following, interviews with leaders, deep-dives of the great entrepreneurs, strategy breakdowns. Think of us as Lenny for leadership.

And finally, why the acquisition?

Well firstly, Danny and the AI Plug team needed to focus on other opportunities inside of other businesses lines they have. It simply became a cost-benefit analysis and they couldn’t find the time to continue.

So they put the newsletter on the market.

For me and the Open Source CEO team (team of two) it was a great opportunity to add value to the community with what we do. Although we are only partly focussed on AI tools, we the audience demographic of founders, investors and leaders in tech works perfectly and I think you are you going to our content.

And that’s it really. The AI Plug team wanted the community to live on, and now it will via Open Source CEO. And it’s safe to say we are pretty excited for it!
